Stefano Bressani, dress-material artist, starts drawing from an early age, using different techniques learned in his formative years. He comes, however, to an innovative style, personal and distinctive, as a joke and a challenge, making a unique creative effort, going to experiment with ideas and techniques research that would allow a comparison with contemporary art. The idea that lies behind all his work comes from the observation of an image, its "soul", that is what the artist's eye can perceive. The inspiration is realized when he finds the point of emotional contact between himself and image, to convey his emotions through the inner eye. The main character of this artist is positivity, the euphoria and joy that he tries to maintain until the end of the picture, when he finds again in his work the starting idea. In recent years Bressani has developed a special technique that begins with the idea of photography that captures his emotions in a single, particular moment. Bressani is inspired by the study of the image and returns to our observers eyes the traits of the subjects, giving them a sense of depth and three-dimensional played texture orientation. Bressani has adopted the basic concepts of anatomy and physiognomy to represent subjects, entities that reveal the expression of their "soul" . The works of Bressani communicate through eyes: his characters are watching us from the picture, but these works also allow to go beyond the eye itself, thanks to a tactile heat form which increases the expression and allows, closing eyes, to perceive shapes.
